3rd EV I've owned and none were Tesla.

I got into the EV rage in 2018 with a BMW i3 Rex. After 2 flawless years with this one, I bought another German EV with the VW iD4 Pro S. ( bought the last one on the lot that was built in Germany and it didn't qualify for the $7500 tax credit, but VW gave me a check for $7500) Again 3 years, 78k miles with only replacing the tires once and the windshield wipers twice...and NO service visits, I was ready for my 3rd. Living in Mississippi where the charging infrastructure is none existent, I had never seen a Lyriq until this one popped up on my search while seeing if any were any EVs for sale in my area. It's the Silver color that is the same as the concept car. I fell in LOVE. I have owned it now for a month. Made several trips over it's 300 mile range using the Tesla Super Chargers and an adaptor. Totally sold on this! I will tell anyone considering an EV...1. DO NOT BUY NEW. Lease one new if you have to have 'new'. If you are buying, find one regardless of the brand, that is probably a lease turn in, clean CarFax and let the one that bought it new that the 50-58% hit on the depreciation, and you enjoy the remainder of the factory warranty. The Lyriq has great build quality, smooth as silk ride and more creature comforts then many. The acceleration, that seems to be what everyone talks about like you are going to zoom around in it all day...silly...is linear. It goes but it's not a sports car. Buy a Corvette if you want a sports car, this is a Cadillac. Comfort, style for miles and a great built car.…
Luxury, Silence, and Presence—Cadillac Lyriq Deliv

I absolutely love my 2025 Cadillac Lyriq Sport 2 AWD. It’s one of the smoothest, quietest cars I’ve ever driven, making every commute feel premium and refined. The exterior design turns heads, especially at night when the lighting signature stands out—there’s something special about the way people admire this car on the road.
The luxury feel is undeniable, both inside and out. The interior is upscale, spacious, and well-thought-out, making every drive enjoyable. The best part? Charging at home makes owning an EV incredibly convenient—no gas station stops, just a seamless experience every day.
If I had to ask for more, I’d love to see more frequent software updates from GM to enhance the in-car tech and user experience. Additionally, expanding public charging infrastructure would make long-distance travel even more convenient.
Overall, this car delivers performance, comfort, and a true luxury EV experience. If you’re considering an electric SUV that looks and feels premium, the Lyriq should be at the top of your list.…

I have a fully optioned 24 Lyriq Sport 3 Supercruise. As a certified "car nut", I have to say this car does everything not only "right", but better than expected. I've seen some "critical" review by some that just don't make sense to me. It's as though they felt that they had to write something negative just "because". It's NOT a Sports car. Don't expect it to handle like one! (It accelerates like one!) Yes there are faster, but WHO CARES?! It's an SUV! And it "SUV's" better than any I tested. It drives like a dream & the Supercruise (self driving) & adaptive cruise contol is incredible! I've also managed to get MORE range that it's rated for in driving from Phx, Az to So Cal. (Got less that rated too! 85 mph uphill does bide well for your range!) The huge display, grest sound system, crazy color changing lights, massaging heated & cooled seats & all the tech goodies make this a fun & "interesting" vehicle to own. And the styling (inside & out) speaks for itself. STUNNING!…
